Only 8 Days Old and my Mother Hates Me!!
Believe it or not, this Darling little boy has been rejected by his Mother and is being raised by humans. His name is Zaiden and he is a pure bred Friesian. As soon as he stood up right after birth, his Mother began biting and kicking at him ---- it was obvious to the owners (professional horse breeders) that this was a rare case of total rejection.
But not to worry, a wonderful young lady named Gabby has stepped in to help him adjust to his new life. It was so obvious that the affection between them was genuine. (Pic below) What an experience.
There were 3 young foals (all male) outside today --- and 6? more expected any day now.
