Steve Mecca Dusk 1

Strobist Info:

Set up 2 strobes and was shooting at a different perspective where the flashes were not in frame, the sunset made me hurry and change perspective to catch some of the cool light. So I wound up with this, I really wanted that landscape but didn't have time to re-adjust my strobes, hence the strobe in the frame. One didn't even fire, which was being used more as a fill light to gently illuminate the whole dark side of the boulder. The other flash was a bit more powerful and was pointed right at the climber. Exposure set for ambient light, and flashes were adjusted manually to taste. . . for another shot. . .
