Running several hours late, VIA Rail's triweekly Halifax-Montréal train crosses the Chaudière river bridge after its station stop at Sainte-Foy. The last week has been very challenging for VIA Rail's On-Train Services and Transportation departments in Eastern Canada, with harsh weather and a CN derailment causing numerous delays and cancellations.
