I got tagged by amy to tell you sixteen things about myself.
1. I like to believe that the word "facetious" is the only word in the English language which contains the vowels in alphabetical order. I know that this is probably not true, but I like to tell people anyway when they use the word "facetious." I think there is a certain irony in all of this.
2. I am scared of clowns.
3. Last year I was lucky enough to meet the person I want to grow old with.
4. I like the smell of cow manure. It reminds me of home.
5. The nature of the job that I do dictates that many of my co-workers hate to see me coming. I take a perverse pleasure in this.
6. I think "The Great American Novel" has already been written. The search is over. It is called "Rabbit, Run" and it was written by John Updike.
7. I think Liverpool is one of the world's truly great cities, yet I do not think I will ever live there again.
8. I can be lazy sometimes. That is why I am not going to tag sixteen others to continue this game.
9. I am fascinated by Microsoft Excel.
10. I have recently moved home into the house where my grandparents lived for more than sixty years. I've spent the last week or so packing up two lifetimes worth of belongings. There are things which I intend to unpack and document photographically, but I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to go with it yet. I have also inherited a bird. I think it is a budgerigar, but I need to look into that. I'm not sure how I feel about caged birds, but I certainly can't free it, so I think I'll have to get used to it.
11. Legs Eleven. Bingo is the new Bingo.
12. Two of my biggest heroes are Tom Waits and Robbie Fowler. I clearly have a thing for lovable rogues.
13. I don't like cricket. I love it.
14. Jake Thackray makes me laugh my ass off.
15. I have many, many bad habits. Sorry in advance Kristi.
