Grèbe huppé / Great crested grebe

Quand je reviens de mes promenades à la Semois, je passe devant un étang où il y a plusieurs oiseaux aquatiques. Il y a notamment ce grèbe huppé qui semble être un célibataire, je n'en ai jamais vu de deuxième. Il est difficile à photographier car il est rapide, rarement au bord et plonge souvent sous l'eau. C'est d'ailleurs impressionnant, car il y reste longtemps. Dernièrement je l'ai vu remonter avec un poisson presque aussi gros que lui, je me suis demandée comment il allait faire pour le manger

 

When I come back from my walks at the Semois river, I pass along a pond where there are several aquatic birds. In particular this crested grebe which seems to be a bachelor, I have never seen a second one. He is difficult to photograph because he is fast, rarely at the edge and often dives underwater. It's very impressive, because he stays under water for a long time. Lately I saw him come up with a fish almost as big as him, I wondered how he was going to eat it
