Agios Nikolaos, the town church of Mykonos - Greece
The small Cycladic church of Agios Nikolaos in the old port of Mykonos.
Settled on a stretch of cobbles jutting out into the port, this small antique building with a dazzlingly blue dome is one of the most picturesque churches in town.
The church was initially built on an islet in the port which was later connected to the quay. The pier around the church was restored between 1908 and 1912. And benches outside the church offer a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the Mykonian skyline.
