1989 Lincoln Town Car originally owned by Chuck Berry (3 of 5)

The original owner of this car was the great Chuck Berry, known as "The Father of Rock and Roll." Mr. Berry owned the car from 1989 until 1995. Since 2008, the vehicle has been in the possession of a collectible car enthusiast in Springfield, Illinois.

1989 was the final year of the first generation Lincoln Town Car, which was introduced as a separate model in the Lincoln product line in 1981. When the second generation Town Car made its debut in 1990, gone was the angular design seen on Lincoln models since 1970, which had been replaced by a slightly more rounded European-style look.

Photographed at the 24th Annual Ansar Shrine Classic Car Unit Car Show in Lincoln Park, Springfield, Illinois on June 10, 2012.
