Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker on Friday activated 250 National Guard troops following warnings from the FBI of potential threats to state capitols leading up to the presidential inauguration. The troops are being stationed at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, minutes away from the State Capitol Building should their presence be needed.
