Roesate Spoonbill Landed
To my knowledge the Roseate Spoonbills in Florida are still scattered around and haven’t yet begun their rookery for this season’s nesting. One morning at Wakodahatchee Wetlands a couple hung around after sunrise and acted like they were looking for a nesting site. They do this every year in an effort to purposedly raise our hopes, only to dash them when they disappear to nest somewhere else. Well, I’m not falling for it this year!
