Cheetah Family
This was a good Cheetah mom. She did a great job providing for her growing youngsters, who weren’t quite big enough to do more than get in the way. It was funny one morning watching them attempt together to drag a gazelle under a bush, having learned it’s better to get your catch out of sight to lesson the chance of a lion or hyena from stealing it. Try as they might, they couldn’t budge it. Here they are nicely posing for a family portrait. (Acinonyx jubatus) (Sony a1, 200-600 lens @ 600mm, f/6.3, 1/2000 second, ISO 640)
