Tricolor on Black

This is a recent image from Wakodahatchee Wetlands of a Tricolor Heron. They are in beautiful breeding colors now and a pleasure to watch. (Egretta tricolor) (I have to say Latin names seem messed up to me. Shouldn’t it be something like Heretta tricolor since it’s a heron?)
