After much procrastination, and a few missteps, I’ve made a photo book of my 2023 trip to Kenya with Simon of Bella Camp Mara. There may be one more revision once I let the dust settle. This was the last image I processed for the book, a handsome male lion resting in the morning. Lions are my favorite animal. They are extremely social, intelligent, fun loving, and above all, brutes.
