American Redstart Singing
I normally don't target the little guys and I greatly admire those that do. The smaller the bird the larger the challenge. This is my first American Redstart keeper image taken at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Boynton Beach, Florida. It's a substantial crop but the resolution of my a1 came through for me. This is the male, showy in his orange and black tuxedo. The female is a nice yellow and brown. Redstarts dart around the trees, landing for brief seconds before flitting off. This guy was kind enough to stay and extra second or two. (Setophaga ruticilla) (Sony 200-600 at 60mm, f/6.3, 1/500, ISO 10k)
