Mockingbird with Prey

I headed out this morning with the encouragement of a friend hoping to get some good shots of a bald eagle. I managed a few eagle shots but my favorite of the morning is this Northern Mockingbird with a bug in its beak, flying in the light with a nice dark background to set it apart. Hey, it's a raptor at heart.
