Manta ray off Ponce Inlet
This manta ray was part of a small aggregation sighted about 6NM off Ponce Inlet in Florida on Feb. 1, 2017. Manta rays are black and white, but display a wide variety of patterns. Because of their large size, coloration, and swimming behavior manta rays are sometimes mistakenly identified as right whales and orcas.
