I looked out the window and the sky was already as if begging for darkness. I could glimpse a little constellation above the earthy reality of this city’s lights.
.
I had so many ideas floating in my head for this week’s theme, and none were like this. But when you procrastinate, days become hours and hours fade. I had to use available light and that meant being lit as if by star light, millions of light years away from here.

Grace always promises to come in serendipity. A gracious person feels like a far away character of some beautiful story, nowadays. You can’t curse and be gracious, you can’t look down instead of for a god and be gracious, you can’t fall and get lost and still be gracious. But what if grace does not come of a god, or of beautiful things, but from the depths of our true star? What if you are standing amidst a parking lot and you feel hit ferociously by grace? What if you’re just preparing lunch and grace comes rushing from your heart leaving you breathless?

To have Grace is to heal. To be gracious is to persevere. To not always look beautiful but to always try to be so, from within. Like a watchful eye, mending what we can not control through the only thing that we can - which is to love. To be deeply still and realize that no darkness and no silence and no loud beautiful light can truly switch off the grace we all bear within. To dance as if everybody is watching because there’s a song in us, and it needs to shine through the heart of others, too. We are all a song and that song speaks of everything that ever was. 🌟

ichraqbsThis is breathtaking! I think that this embodies grace perfectly because to me grace is best shown in our darkest hours. I’m in love with this portrait, the light and shadows are absolutely stunning.
moody.antonioFor me, deep down, I know I’m graceful, because as arrogant as this may sound, I only ever meant harm in a couple of instances in my life (regretting my actions instantaneously afterwards)... Now, I’m not that guy who believes that there are good and bad people, that there are them and us... Being graceful is being conscious of your actions, and doing tiny small things that may not make a difference in the big picture, but yet making that difference for something small: like not killing a living being, not killing an ant for instance...because you experiencing an unbelievable power and not acting upon it, it’s a graceful thing... it’s not good or bad, it is not that people are evil just because they do ungracious actions... It is just a tiny little thing, grace... I think you should be proud of this one... You did an amazing job with the star light... love the cinematic coloring and your hair is perfect...and the tiny details, your tears and that butterfly, that is grace Madalena ♥️
