truncated sun

I grabbed a burger to go at In-n-Out then made it down to the beach just in time to witness this strangely-shaped sun making a dramatic exit. I've never seen this before. Needless to say, the burger waited in my car while I shot the sunset.

 

There were LOTS of diving pelicans tonight.
