View On Black

Driving down the rutted lane is never pleasant, it never has been even when a teenager but the view that awaits is one of my favourites.

The Atlantic in full force dominates, the old mine at the cliff edge as seen in some of my previous images and the cliffs providing stout defence.

Rinsey on the south coast holds a gem of a little beach revealed only on a low tide at the expense of a steep hike, a place of fond memories of years past, of rock bashing, body surfing, sunshine, girls and more.

None of that, the view, the memories are relevant today. We are here today to enjoy the sand underfoot, the fresh breeze through the hair and the sun on our faces whilst allowing Jack to run his little heart out providing a fair impression of a greyhound.

So, no views just an indulgent image or two of our best friend Jack chasing the surf.

Running like a lunatic, being jet black and shooting almost directly into the sun bouncing off the sea made for an interesting and difficult capture.
