Square spiral staircase

This is yet another year when I had no real plans for Open House, and yet another year where my best intentions of going to a few buildings were thwarted by laziness.

 

I did manage to pop along for the St Pancras Chambers tour before heading in to work on the Sunday though, and had a lovely time learning some interesting facts about the building, and seeing detail I had simply walked past before.

 

Though the purpose of this tour is to visit and photograph the grand staircase, I actually found this spiral staircase leading down from the apartments to be of more interest, and certainly easier to get a shot without people in it.

 

This is potentially the only image I have from the Open House this year, so will hopefully try again next year :)
