Lunar Eclipse
A total lunar eclipse taken place on December 21, 2010 as seen from Calgary, Alberta.
The temperature outside was a balmy -16C, but with the wind it felt like -23C.
Fog rolled in just before totality started, but luckily the fog dissipated right before totality ended.
This was also a special lunar eclipse because it landed on the same day as the winter solstice for the first time in 372 years. The last time it happened was the year 1638.
