Two sides of Dementia
Wondered whether to put this photo up or not, but it's as it is.
Mum fell out of bed, apparently straight on to her face. She now has a suspected broken nose and the startings of a black eye.
However, her dementia seems to have helped in a way. She can't remember a thing and is in no pain (at least as much as I could understand her Dutch conversation).
Although, she has her eyes closed here, she was quite chatty tonight... in English and in Dutch. I told her I had been to the gym and she thought I had said Germany, she went off on her rantings of what she thought of Germans, which was quite funny. That is something she has never forgotten !!!
