One of two new additions to my mailbox set--both from Maine. I saw this one on September 20, 2013 in Tremont, Maine, USA--a ship's speaking tube, aka voice tube, voice pipe, used to communicate from one level of the ship to another. Makes a pretty unusual mailbox post.
