African penguins enjoy fish, especially the ones with higher fat content. Zookeepers make sure to balance their diet with fish that are more nutritious.

 

If a penguin detects anything it doesn't like about a fish, the penguin will refuse to eat it. Sometimes, the penguin will also bite the hand that tried to feed it!
