I was trying to time the purchase of a used book, through Amazon, with the beginning of my vacation. And, it worked!
This is an easy read, but The Alchemist has apparently achieved the status of a modern classic. It's been recommended by several friends, including Flickr people whom I also know on Facebook.
I don't often get the chance to say that I'm reading anything -- because I don't have the time. But today, I happily report: this is what I'm reading!
