WisconsinCountyRoadA_177

On the last leg of our journey we were looking at a route that said "County Rd A". The idea was to collect as much of the southern Wisconsin scenery that we could on the way back to Iowa. This meant one rule and one guideline. NO highways and try to stay off the gravel roads, so Route A it was. This route offered us a long and winding road, a few(2) less trees, corn fields that wrapped themselves around the Wisconsin hills and lots of dairy farms and barns and silos, oh, and also some great old rural towns. Enjoy the trip.

Note: This route was traveled toward the west in the afternoon. It isn't best situation having the sun in front of you. But, in the role of a photographic road warrior I shot away anyway. Lost a lot of good shots, about 300, to sun burn, dash reflection and doggy silhouettes. Would like to try this again during the morning with the sun to my back. Maybe next year.
