Fishy Little Huson
Continuing with the caves of Canada, this is Little Huson again, on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia. This image was taken with a fish-eye to enlarge the size of the cave opening. I was shooting to get some reflection off the water in the bottom of the cave. The water level is usually much higher, but we went in the dry season which helped us get more of the cave bottom. Again, this is actually not a cave but a land bridge. There is a small opening behind me in this image for the water to flow out. You have to be very careful in a place where the water level changes so much. These rocks are very slippery. I had the right shoes for slippery rocks and I was still over all the place. There was another fella in there at the time who was trying to climb up onto higher rocks and he could not get any traction, though he skined his arms up good trying. I did not think to grab my waiders which have carpet bottomed feet. Next time.
