Almost Panther
Panther creek, near Panther Creek Falls has much more to offer than just the falls. Yes, Panther Creek Falls are stunning, not trying to downplay the falls, but there are many fantastic images to be had near the falls too. You can see the actual falls in the distance here in this image, through the trees. You don't want to slip into this stream, you would end up over the falls there in about 40 feet. Not sure if the tree framing the top of the image works, you tell me.
We had just come back up form Falls Creek Cave near here and we were zonked! That cave is a lot of scrambling and your legs are toast after a mile or so in that cave. The idea was were going to just shoot the top of Panther Creek Falls. That's why we were shooting this aspect. We finally did scramble down the hill anyway though, images from that coming soon. Needless to say we slept well that night. Dreams of dripping tripods. :)
