bacon chocolate crunch bar, s&p anglaise

The anglaise had a decided bacon flavor to it, which was wonderful. We enjoyed it enough that we ordered a second one, but I really think it should have been served with a knife and fork. The crunch portion was hard enough that it was very difficult to cut neatly with a spoon (which is what they served it with), and with that anglaise it really was not good as finger food.
