This was the best quail I've ever had. I was surprised because against such a small amount of flesh, I expected breading to be absolute overkill, but the seasoning enhanced the flavor of the quail nicely and breading was not so thick as to be overwhelming, and yet thick enough that it definitely provided a nice textural fried crunch. The sauce was also very nice, perhaps a touch sweet for me, but no complaints from the rest of the table.
