#6/100 Mika
This is Mika.
I met her through my good friend, Byron. It was the summer of 2006. He seemed really happy and one day, he told me that he met a girl... and they were starting to hang out. I met her a few times, and although she seemed a little shy, I can tell she was a super sweet person... perfect for Byron.
That same year, in July, she was actually at one of my life-changing moments. I was in Japan for a gig on my birthday, so Hiro (my hubby) planned a b-day bbq a week after I got back. It was just something small with 4 people. I was talking to Byron and just told him to come... and bring Mika. Well, they arrived as I was opening my gifts... and when Hiro proposed. So, she was one of just a handful of people that were there on that special day. :)
Mika is super creative and she really likes cute fonts! She loves to write... she loves the arts... and she really loves photography. She's also an awesome odori (Japanese traditional dance) dancer. We even tried making a friendly photography group where we can create a space for our friends to talk photography without feeling any sort of competition. I hope we can resurrect it.
OH! We came up with the BEST sangria recipe!! With special ingredients and everything! lol. She can't drink much, but we like making it. It's been awhile... so I think we're due to make another batch soon.
