Sunset and rising stars over a frozen Jackson Lake

Yes, it was cold. I took this sunset time-lapse last night. I've been in Jackson for a little over a week and my car was in serious need of reorganization and the wildlife weren't cooperating, so I pulled off at an overlook that I've liked before to set up this shoot to run mostly as an excuse to work on my car. Oh, about 10 minutes later I looked up and WOW it was lit up like crazy!! :)

I made a few mistakes in this one. I didn't set my camera right for the fade to night time so the crossfade is from a sequence of frames 3 seconds apart run at 30 frames per second. The fade to night section is frames on a 10 second interval running at 24 frames per second. I'm still very much learning the art of the time-lapse, but I'm happy with the results so far!
