Cliche: wk 50 of 52 weeks: the 2013 edition
Third time's the charm? And when does stick-to-it-iveness become perseveration? ;) I wasn't completely happy with either of my two previous attempts at this image (seen in the comments below) and while this is closer to what I originally envisioned (with deliberate use of dark/light and negative space, and the wolf howling up and into the frame) I probably won't be happy with this one, either, after I've looked at it for a while... that old Paroxysm of Perfectionism thing... but I promise not to post any more versions, lol.... Time to move on!! Thanks for all your comments and input!
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled description.... Is this cliche enough? A friend (you know who you are!) issued a challenge to me that we also make the rest of this year's themes fit with a sub-theme of Joe Satriani lyrics/song titles, so here is 'Big Bad Moon' (please forgive that virtuosic guitarist for trying to sing, lol.... All elements (supermoon, cloudy sky, rocky beach) in this image are original, except for the wolf, which is clip art :( I tried and tried to get Duffy to howl at the moon for me, but he's just tooooo mellow for such things.... ;) However, he did agree to do a little passive modeling for me, so I could give the poor clip art wolf some feet in this version :)
