MEDITERRANEAN SEA (May 23, 2012) Hellenic Navy Special Forces members fast rope out of a Hellenic Navy Aegean Hawk, 2nd Squadron S-70 Helicopter onto the deck of the USNS LCPL Roy M. Wheat (T-AK 3016) during a Phoenix Express 12(PE12) helicopter, visit, board, search, and seizure (HVBSS) exercise. PE12 is a multinational maritime exercise between Southern European, North African and U.S. Naval forces intended to improve cooperation among participating nations and help increase safety and security in the Mediterranean Sea.
