The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, also called simply the MET, is one of the finest museums in the world. It is the largest museum in the US and ranked third in the world. I knew it was a large museum, but did not realize how huge it actually was. We spent about six hours inside the museum, but sadly that was not enough to do justice. This museum allows photographers to carry tripods, but only on certain days. They do have restrictions on carrying backpacks, and using flash. If you are planning to visit the museum and take photographs, read the general instructions and all regulations carefully before you take all your equipment there.
