Jane Underwood says: I've included three of Jane's, because she did an entire wonderful set, many of which are photos of her meticulously designed still lifes of leaves in juxtaposition to other objects. They often look like collages to me. I love Jane's sense of graphic design, her subtle colors, the intelligence of her presentations. (And these spots are to die for!)

Jane Underwood says: Impossible to resist the transclucent light illuminating the veins so beautifully. Lovely shade of green/yellow. And the dark vines add, for me, an appealing asymmetrical "imperfection" to the composition...and almost a sense of mystery.

Jane Underwood says: It's unique. It's clever. The red tone against the deep yelllow/gold is exquisite (at least on MY screen!). I feel the motion, the lyrical dance of these two lovely leaves. Beyond that, I simply enjoy the composition.
