Sunrise near Arthingworth

I nearly left home without my camera this morning! I'm glad I went back to grab it as the light was stunning with the frozen ground - subtle yet beautiful hues in the sky.

 

This vista is one I pass often on my way to work, and I am always struck by the silhouettes of the tree line on the top of the hill and have wanted to stop to photograph them for a while. This crisp, frosty morning gave me the opportunity!
