Apollo 17, the day launch on the Pad-39a, 1:40 a.m. EST, Dec. 6, 1972

I had before me a moon rocket "This is the last". That was the reality. Technicians and engineers working on the pad 39a, in the main tower and we see the Mobile Service Structure, that just released the Saturn 5 rocket. Sounds of the engines crawler carrier "piston engines sound" that we can hear very well. There are a lot activities. It was a great moment that strikes the imagination. Dan Beaumont.
