Food Trucks at NMAH
I was surprised to find 6 of DC's gourmet food trucks at the National Museum of American History today. The lines were much shorter than usual, especially for the Red Hook Lobster Roll truck, so I finally had one for lunch today. Off to the left are the dozens of hot dog trucks the tourists usually frequent, and I was saddened to see people coming out of the museum, look over the gourmet food trucks and head for the warmed over, boiled in dirty water hot dogs when they could have had interesting, fresh fare. Left to right around the semicircle: Curbside Cupcakes, Fry Captain, Red Hook Lobster Pound, SweetGreen, TaKorean, and On the Fly.
