Surly Monster Cross Check
This was built as my geared "road bike," or at least the closest thing I have to a road bike. Typically I think of the green SS Cross Check as my monster, but I'm signing up for a 54 mile gravel ride next week and I'm told that gears are highly encouraged. To that end, I threw the Knard41s from the Green Monster onto this bike (with a few other upgrades like some Pacenti SL23 wheels and Paul's MiniMoto brakes). I planned to take it out on Saturday for 20 miles but due to some time constraints and my initially forgetting my helmet, I had to make it a quick seven.
