my button :-)

I broke my left hand pinky when I fell in the shower (embarrassing, but not too proud to admit it!), so the good people at the University of Iowa hospitals patched me up. The surgical procedure is called volar plate arthroscopy (I think). You can see the metal pin that's holding everything in place protruding from the button. Kinda gross, but fascinating. The pin comes out in two weeks.
