Dedicate yourself to becoming your best
This quote really resonated with me.
I think I need to find daily quotes to fire me up for the day. I'm really starting to lose the plot I really am. This whole COVID business is starting to grind me down.
So I'm going to put that to one side every single morning. My routine now won't include:
Checking social media first thing in the morningChecking the news first thing in the morning
That is such a negative way to start the day. It really puts me on the back foot. Even if the sun is shining all I see is COVID. It's a horrendous way to get going. I may even get to the point where I leave my phone downstairs when I go to bed. I really can't take it so much anymore.
Instead, the first things I will do is get up find a motivational quote to start the day. This is day one photo. I'll use it to find gratitude and love. Use it to find ways to release myself from the negativity that has built during the day. Use it to find peace or tranquility in an otherwise mental world. I'll also use it as a writing prompt for a journal as such. As I haven't written as much as I would have liked recently, this will also help me to get back into that habbit. So on to this quote:
Dedicate yourself to becoming your best
I would say that I'm not at my best right now. Lockdown has not been kind. I have let myself go and it showed at football over the weekend. It's time to get this fixed and move on. At 41 I know my body is going to start showing signs of slowing down and breaking up. If I work hard I can be better than that. I can ensure I get motivated to really get working. Fitness is one aspect, but I've also got to up my productivity game - get stuff done.
So that's the plan. I'm a really visual person, so I'm hoping that using images and quotes to get me going is something that might work. I may publish these, I may not.
I also just really want to publish more stuff overall. I have had enough of dumbly receieving content from the mainstream media. I have largly stopped watching TV so this shouldn't be a problem. In order to
