EOS remote control
This is the front of the cannibalized VCR front-end, I used it as the button/switch were already soldered on it, but you can use anything for that.

This is a homemade EOS remote control, to take shot from a distance and use it as bulb.
It's based on this schema and should have the similar functionality as a RS-60E3.
The cost is virtually null except for the connectors (see the note on the photos) as you need a 2.5mm connector which is not very standard.
The material used is:
- 1 switch and 2 buttons all already soldered on the front of a cannibalized VCR (power switch+two control buttons) FREE
- 1 3.5mm jack from an old pair of earphones FREE
- 1 old Mini-Disk box
- 1 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female jack connector, ~3.5£/6.5$
- optionally a 3.5 jack extension (2m) lead, ~2£
The connectors where found at a normal "media" shop that sells CDs, earphones, etc...
