DRC, Goma, North Kivu: After an agreement between MONUSCO and the French Institute, 40 non-francophone agents of the Mission have received intensive training in French since 2 October 2017.

RDC, Goma, Nord-Kivu : Apres un accord entre la MONUSCO et l’Institut français, 40 agents non-francophones de la Mission reçoivent depuis le 2 octobre 2017, une formation intensive en français. Le Représentant spécial adjoint, David Gressly, a annoncé l'engagement de la MONUSCO à renforcer ce partenariat pour la promotion de la paix et de la cohésion sociale en RDC. L’Inauguration du Centre culturel français pour la Région des Grands Lacs, la « Halle des Volcans » par l'Ambassadeur de France en RDC, Alain Remy, a eu lieu vendredi 20 Octobre dernier, en présence des autorités provinciales du Nord-Kivu, de l'Envoyée spéciale française pour les Grands Lacs ainsi que du Chef adjoint de la MONUSCO, David Gressly. DRC, Goma, North Kivu: After an agreement between MONUSCO and the French Institute, 40 non-francophone agents of the Mission have received intensive training in French since 2 October 2017. The Deputy Special Representative, David Gressly, announced MONUSCO's commitment to strengthening this partnership for the promotion of peace and social cohesion in the DRC. The inauguration of the French cultural Centre for the Great Lakes region, the "Halle des the Volcans" by the Ambassador of France in the DRC, Alain Remy, took place on Friday 20 October, in the presence provincial authorities of North Kivu, the Special French envoy for the Great Lakes as well as the deputy chief of MONUSCO, David Gressly.
