Kinshasa, RDC – En marge de la célébration de la Journée mondiale de la liberté de la presse du 03 mai, SC-PID/ MONUSCO, BCNUDH et UNESCO, en collaboration avec l’UNPC et JED, ont organisé un Forum d’échanges sur la situation de la liberté de la presse en RDC. Charles Bambara, Directeur de SC-PID/ MONUSCO présent à cet atelier, a déclaré : « Garantir la liberté des médias dans le monde entier est une priorité pour les Nations Unies. Car, des médias libres sont des garants de la transparence, de la responsabilisation et de l’Etat de droit. Kinshasa, DRC - On the sidelines of the celebration of World Press Freedom Day on May 3, SC-PID / MONUSCO, UNJHRO and UNESCO, in collaboration with UNPC and JED, organized an Exchange Forum on the state of freedom of the press in the DRC. Charles Bambara, Director of SC-PID / MONUSCO, present at this workshop declared : "Ensuring media freedom around the world is a priority for the United Nations. For free media are the guarantors of transparency, accountability and the Rule of Law. They promote participation in public and political debate, they contribute to the fight against poverty”.
