buttons

my grammie could

sew anything...

knit anything...

she made the most gorgeous things...

she was amazing.

 

and she always had TONS of beautiful buttons.

i also recall her taking me to the store to buy buttons...

it was a painstaking process, to choose just the right one.

she always let me pick a few out too.

 

she passed a few hundred on to me.

i kept them in a tin for years and years...

and a couple years back,

i decided to put them on display.

i'd never be able to share all of my favorites...

but here you can see some of them.
