Ive always thought that if you were a serial killer a Mr Whippy van would be a nice mode of transport.
Think about it.. Its never out of place in a suburb, no one looks twice at one, its obvious so who would think of using it and they have plenty of room in them. Play that irritating music and who would ever think of it. Mind you im not sure they got very fast, never seem to anyway.
Now I am not sure what it says about me that I think of things like this, but I wanted to take a picture I had that was doing nothing and rather dull and make it somehow look sinister and brooding.
Over pushed the contrast, punched the highlights, converted to Black and White and used a lomo effect action.. I think i like this action, but dont want to over use it, i just wanted the slightly sinister brooding look it gives for this.
Now here's the thing. I don't know if it worked. I know what I think but what do you think?
PS : For those in countries where they dont have these (i admit to having no idea if they exist anywhere else) a Mr Whippy van is basically a van with a soft serve ice cream machine in it that drives around by the beach or suburbs selling Ice Creams from the back on hot days, and generally drinks and hot dogs as well. As a kid you learn to eat the ice cream quickly as its generally running down your arm in seconds.
Also known for the terrible version of Greensleeves they play which can be heard suburbs aways.
