if you have read a book called "Only Forward" by Micheal Marshall Smith then this image might start to make some sense. For those who havent. There's time to start - suffice it to say he uses beaches as part of a theme, but then much of what you think is going on is not really whats going on - its existentialism hiding behind smart writing - try it, you will laugh out loud and think at the same time
