Inside the Edo-Tokyo Museum. They had some massive miniatures of Edo-Tokyo which was cool to see, as well as lots of history describing the Edo period of Japan.

 

If you are in Tokyo, you should go. It's gives a lot of history and details of the culture. Get a volunteer guide to get the most out of it. On the top level of the the museum, there is a library that contains original texts etc. That's worth checking out too.

 

I've begun to have quite a fascination with this time period.
