The hardships he had suffered whilst fagging at Eaton had given him the steely reserve to rise to any challenge, aristocracy might be in his blood, but in his chest beat the heart of a true Oxford ‘Bullingdon Club' Anti Hero (or so he thought?) dedicated to freeing the unwashed British public from years of Labour bondage, like Moses David would lead the chosen 'few' to the promised land of Conservatism, "well the ones that could afford it anyway!"
