Buffy -- 25/26
Studio 26 2019 Assignment #25 . . . Imitation/Tribute. For this assignment, we were to choose an image (or more than one) from another group member to try to imitate. We could try to duplicate in detail, or make it our own and echo some element.
This was a fun assignment and one that I've always looked forward to each year. I did this image and one other photo imitation but was disappointed with myself for not getting to try another couple that I had hoped to do.
This was a great opportunity to practice some skills in Photoshop and also learn some new things. I went back to our assignment on textures to refresh my memory on how to use them and searched for some tutorials to find out how to cut out and place the images.
I chose this image as my final submission because I really liked the way it came together. I felt it was somewhat reflective of Liz's original image (in the first comment below) that I was imitating and yet unique in its own way.
I have also included in the comments below the other imitation/tribute images that were done along this same theme. Buffy and I thought it was great fun to join in on these textured image tributes!
